Aircel 3G Service

Aircel also introduced their 3G Service in Kolkata. Service is
launched on 24th Feb with the free trial 250 MB data on 3G network as
well as 50 minutes of video call. This offer is valid till 1st March
only. Voice and SMS service fees will be same for the Aircel 3G
network as it was for the 2G network. Also these two services will not
affect or change (speed / quality) due to the 3G network Paid Services
in Aircel 3G. Video telephony and data transmission Aircel 3G video
telephony fees: 5 paisa per second or Rs.3 per minute.

We are here writing the review for Aircel 3G service in Kolkata.

Aircel 3G Obervation:

If you are willing to work with the Aircel 3G then you have to first
activate the 3G service on your mobile number as Aircel does not allow
3G network obly by setting the 3G/UMTS Network mode on your phone. If
you wish to use the Aircel 2G Pocket Internet connection after the
activation of the 3G Services then you just have to keep the Network
mode as the GSM.

Activation of the 3G service on your Aircel network is easy. All you
have to do is to send a message i.e. STARTS 3G to 121 and you will
receive the confirmation for the activation of the 3G Services in 2
minutes. But make sure that you are having a 3G mobile phone to enable
the 3G service.

I have performed some speed test for my mobile which is running with
the 3G Service and here is the result with the Speedtest.net.

Conclusion:

For now Aircel is coming with the cheapest plan for 3G network. Aircel
3G networks is offering the good speed with the cheapest video calling
rates that is the plus point for Aircel. High Speed 3G service will be
the advantage for the user to surf on net, View Youtube , Visit
Facebook and many more function with the better speed. In my opinion
this is better to go with the Aircel 3G Network plan
