Now on the toolbar make click on the favourite bar and if you not find the favourite bar then make click on the customize and after select the favourite bar and then start the internet explorer again and after that let me know the issue. To do this you need to go to the control panel. First go to the control panel through start and after that click on the add/remove program on the control panel. Now on the add/remove program locate to the Internet explorer and after that click on this and then select the remove or uninstall. Now once you done and after that restart your system and then install the new Internet explorer again and after that let me know the issue. (They say only Win7 can support this) I wouldnt trust anything new from them to be quite honest!! I think IE6 is the last good version of that series (Looks the nicest, etc) I dunno why your favourites arent there,i wish you luck in getting them to show up Reply With Quote #6 Old 13-11-2011 docjb docjb is offline Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Posts: 1 Re: Internet explorer 9 missing Favorites Button & Tabs After loosing my “favorites” drop down list when I installed a new Internet explorer version, and searching many sites giving suggestions for modifying the registry, reinstalling, etc. with none of them working, I found the following solution to my problem. The newer version of Internet Explorer didn’t look for my “Favorites” folder under my user name, instead it was looking under “Windows.” I opened windows explorer, found the “favorites” folder, I think it was in computer/users/my user name/favorites. I then expanded the computer so I could see “windows” and moved the favorites folder into the windows folder. As a result, my drop down list of favorites was restored. It worked for me. That doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Reply With Quote #7 Old 15-11-2011 Dude111 Dude111 is offline Member
