Squid Proxy Server issue

Squid Proxy Server issue I have installed Squid for proxy server and also installed Foxy Proxy. I have configured squid to work with my IPs and added new proxies to Foxy Proxy. However, when I tested it the proxy change is not working., Also, in Services.msc I cannot see Squid as one of the items. It could be that Squid is not a part of Services and hence is not working. Please help. If so.. then you need to setup cache peer for hierarchy configuration. For example consider following option (squid.conf): Code: cache_peer cache.isp.cache.com parent 3128 3130 default

And also there are sure that the content will be same if there are the things or the topic that are same for the topic there in the content, so finally I want to say that the duplicate content is good if in the limited quantity for any of the articles. This is thing that most of the time it is unintentional. This is mostly done for some of the reason that the content is duplicated for the attempt to manipulate search engine rankings or gain more traffic via popular or long-tail queries. So you must follow these steps • Whenever you have detected any of the duplicate content, such as through changes caused by URL parameters, group that duplicate URLs into one cluster. • Make the selection for what you think is the "best" URL to represent the cluster in search results. • After that you can merge properties of the URLs in the cluster, similar as link popularity, to the representative URL. • Merge properties from duplicates into one representative URL often provides the users with additional correct search results. So the simple way for this to take a unique text snippet from a page and then make it search for it in the search box and see what are the words are highlighted in the other links or the content there listed below the search box. So make the use of the site:query and follow with the url that you are posting your content that you have want to check for the verification for the duplicated. Anti aliasing enabled in Internet Explorer

Anti aliasing enabled in Internet Explorer Currently I am using Anti aliasing 11.11. If I configure AA to 16X broad tent, scrolling pages within IE9 causes them to blur, and augment blurring with further scrolling. It as well can cause entire areas of web pages to turn black. If I configure AA to application controlled it doesn't come about. For texts in HTML, do not have much choice in this matter. And only differs from a sailor to another depending on your computer. Where we have a little more freedom is to choose fonts to incorporate buttons or graphics. Type in 14 pixels on, usually they can apply an anti-alias satisfactorily. About 12 pixels and depends on the weight and design of the source itself. Less than that too complicated and it is best to choose a font for display without antialiasing. Internet explorer cannot add search providers

Hi, My problem is that in the Internet explorer I can not add any search provider. Like when I try to add google I get an error message. saying you need IE 7 but after installing IE 7 I am still not able to add search providers. Internet explorer cannot add search providers Anyone know what to be done? Thanks for solution. Reply With Quote #2 Old 24-08-2009 spuff's Avatar spuff spuff is offline Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 265 Re: Internet explorer cannot add search providers Add Search Provider Add Search Provider dialog box. If this particular search provider is already installed, you will get a dialog box saying so or you will get a dialog box with options to upgrade that provider. For example, the search provider may offer search suggestions now where it did not before. The second way to add a search provider is by discovery. After the provider's Web page loads, the drop-down arrow on the Instant Search box turns orange, indicating that a search provider can be installed. When you click the orange drop-down arrow, a list of the search providers that are installed and other available options is displayed. A golden icon appears to the left of the search provider's name that Internet Explorer 8 discovered. When you click the Add Search Providers option, a list of the available providers is displayed. The following picture shows the Live Search options: Products, Images, and Videos. Adding Your Own Search Provider If your search provider does not provide a direct way for you to add it as a search provider, you can still add it manually. Follow the instructions on the Windows Search Guide page to create your own search provider. Note that this widget adds the provider only as a search provider without search suggestions. If you know that the provider offers search suggestions, use the search provider's Web site to add the provider. hope this helps you. I resolved this by performing the following steps: 1. Open the registry editor by going to Start Menu\Run and entering "Regedit" and pressing the "okay" button. 2. Go to the following location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1\0\win32 3. Right click on the entry in the right pane of the registry editor (default), select 'modify'. Enter C:\WINDOWS\system32\ieframe.dll as its data 4. Exit Registry Editor. Now, when you go to the add-on gallery, a window will pop up allowing you to download and install the new search provider when you click on the "add to internet explorer" button on the website. Pligg VS WordPress

Pligg VS WordPress I'm planning for a solid Content management system that can be exercised for multiple site types, such as Blog, Link Directory and review site. Thus in simple words i am about to make a website through which i can provide all the information as well as can have reviews from the end users as well. It is something that I can hand over to a client who knows nothing about websites and can administer and continue on their own. What do you think which source will be better to make use of either pligg or wordpress over here? Reply With Quote #2 Old 12-11-2011 HamsiniI HamsiniI is offline Member Join Date: May 2011 Posts: 1,719 Re: Pligg VS WordPress see it is actually depends upon various factors such as what is your clients need, towards which language your personal preference rater knowledge matters as well. Along with this It all depends on what you desire to present your clients. Pligg and Wordpress both provide you a dissimilar kind of platform where pligg is more of a bookmarking site. But still as far as security is concern i would always recommend you to make use of WordPress, and another thing that make me use it as I do not know what is pligg, I never used it, thus as mentioned preferred knowledge area also play very important role over here. Since, Wordpress let its users to sign up for blogs and get their unique URLs on your server. And Pligg is an outstanding Digg clone social networking platform. It is a high scalable up till now demanding social networking platform. However, while it comes to deciding about a Blog, Link Directory and review site you desire your CMS to be extremely scalable, flexible, and effortless to utilize. At the end of the day, it all comes down to your taste as mentioned above. I would personally recommend to make use of WordPress as it allows to host others’ blogs for free. Mozilla Firefox 8 crashes with Download Status Bar add-on

Mozilla Firefox 8 crashes with Download Status Bar add-on In my computer I am using Mozilla Firefox browser and I am experiencing one problem with the Mozilla Firefox. First you should open the browser and then you have to click on the clear recent history option and after clicking on the clear recent history option you have to clear the cache and cookies and after clearing the cache and cookies from the Firefox browser you have to close the browser and after that you have to open the browser again and after restarting the browser you have to check whether same problem is occurring or not. I think after clearing the cache and cookies in your Firefox browser you will be able to solve this issue. If after still facing the difficulty after that then let me know. And this is the best way of branding your website. This is good idea for attaching the blog to your site so make the use of this blog to speak dating or tips, so there at least add Facebook like/share as well as Tweet buttons that make the useful option for the user to make the user to share that so because of these you will get the chances for the new user to attract towards your site.
